Want to earn more 🤑? Pick a strength and make it stronger💪🏽

I used to think being a "jack of all trades" was a good thing, until I realized the entire quote is "jack of all trades, master of none." So I've been thinking - is it better to specialize in ONE thing valuable to employers? And learn to do it really well?

Is this how to find a job you love? 🤔

Step 1: Identify what you love doing
What are you good at? What are you great at? Once you can identify this strength, enhance it. Read about it. Learn more about it. Grow around it.

Step 2: Go get a job related to what you love
This is the hard part, but it could change your life. You could find someone who will take you under their wing. More importantly, you could get certified to enhance your knowledge and hiring opportunities.

Here's my question: What do you love doing?

Chick-fil-A jobs

With Chick-Fil-A you should always remember one of the most important thing to say, which is MY PLEASURE! I forgot to say my pleasure many times in the beginning and always got called out for it so make sure you say MY PLEASURE . I think if you have the opportunity when interviewing say “MY PLEASURE”. Make sure it’s used properly though if the chance comes up where they say thank you, then you say “MY PLEASURE”. Another couple things you should do is always dress appropriately, always take your earrings off before work if your a guy because I also got called out for wearing them once, and they made me take them off, if you are trying to get a job and you don't wanna have to stress because I worked at Chick-fil-a for a little while and they work your tail off, so try to ask if you want to if there are any openings for either traffic, or doing drinks because those are the top 2 easiest jobs to me and try to keep your tattoos hidden as much as possible. Last thing your gonna wanna consider doing is getting a clean cut and speak proper english because then you just sound ignorant and thats already a red flag to them 🤙🏿 Any other questions or if anyone wants more advice i would be more than happy to help! #advice #interview #jobsearch #wordsofadvice #unemployment #motivation #management #foodservices #application

Want to Manage People but Haven't Done it Formally?

First of all, every manager had to have a first shot at managing people. You are simply looking for your first opportunity.

The good news is you can use past experiences as reasons why you are ready to take on more of a leadership role.

For example,

Have you led a project?

Mentored anyone?

Brought a brand-new employee up to speed?

Given recurring advice to colleagues?

Led meetings?

Guess what? If you did one or more of those things effectively and WANT to manage people, then you are certainly ready.

Most of the leadership refinement occurs as you lead. You'll learn from your mistakes just like in other areas of your professional life.

Besides, good managers are not constantly on top of their direct reports...micromanagers do that.

You want to be in a position to let people thrive. It's as simple and as complicated as that.

Does anyone know of personal assistant jobs virtual or any in Salt Lake City Utah ?

I’m living in Salt Lake City Utah. I haven’t worked much in the past 2 years but have recently started at IHOP. I love serving tables, but I’m looking for a more stable paycheck. #advice #jobsearch #workfromhome #wordsofadvice #hiring

I found these admin assistant jobs within 5 miles of Salt Lake city. Feel free to check these employer recommendations to see if there’s any opportunities that fit you the best. I assume employers listed here like Xerox, Embassy Suite or Goodyear might have opening for assistant roles. You should still update iHop in your profile and count that toward your professional skills and experiences. Good luck!
