Nobody wants to hire me despite my skills and intelligence. Right off the bat people are quick to see I'm sharper than most and I think that scares some managers because they think ima replace em or something! I've had that at other jobs where management were jealous of me because they thought i was smarter than them and am going to make them look bad in front of guests. Idk man, it jus sucks. I got back from a combat zone and honestly I wish I would have died. #wordsofadvice

There is a Jobcase Disability Resource Center! There you can find a lot of information about navigating work with a disability. There are also links that could help you know what your rights are at work, and other resources from the Department of Labor related to finding and keeping a job! Good Luck! 💕

I actually no longer enjoy working at Wendys. Wenspoke took away our free lunch daily. I don't get paid enough at 15 an hour, 6 hours a day for 5 days, to afford everything. I can't get a car, or insurance. None of my managers ever took the time to help me figure out Health Care through Wenspoke so I am still relying on my OHP through Oregon and having to travel down their for it. This sucks. Im hungry.

I was asked to resign as I used some foul language at work. My direct report to Director uses the same language daily and was a referral from the VP and gets away with this. Is this something I should pursue or just move on?

I went on an interview that I thought would be great for me. When I got there I was interviewed by the woman who I spoke to over the phone, and another man. He said he would call everyone that coming Monday to let them know what jobs were available. It has been two weeks and I never heard back from them. When I called the company I was told by the Receptionist that the man that interviewed me was out sick.??? Two weeks? No class! If they were not interested they should have not wasted my time.

I’m so embarrassed, I was so excited to start this new e-commerce role, my friends and family were so proud of me. I started Friday, everything was fine, I was shown around and was taught a few things. Yesterday I started helping with the Instagram DMs, it was my first time, I was responding to questions about restocks. I mistook some products and accidentally misinformed customers about the date of restock, I really beat myself up about this because I could’ve easily just clarified with a co worker.

Today was really rough, I made two more stuff ups, I canceled a customers order as they wanted to use their store credit but forgot about the 5% cancellation fee, and I also send a follow up email to the wrong customer.

I got home today and opened my phone to discover I’ve been fired by email I’m so embarrassed, and disappointed in myself, I didn’t even last a week.

Nothing. I along with other high performing workers constantly put forth the effort to almost double their numbers and one by one we were fired or terminated on unfair grounds. I was on a 90 day agreement that I wouldn’t be late despite not having clocked in after 7AM (start time) once that month. After being aggressed and pressured by the HR and Manager to Sign it under the pre-notion that I’d be fired if I hadn’t, I tried my best to help however they told me and come as early as convient for my health of which they did not care for. This can be backed by my termination which came immediately after I asked for Medical Leave, i was referred to do so by the Manager at the time and the owner and boss of my position delightfully delegated the situation to HR. After being told I can’t go home I worked the entire shift on a sprained ankle then after showing the medical papers that had been signed by a doctor for me to takesome time away from work The HR at the time used my 90 ay agreement about being late to terminate me for missing days I hadn’t even been gone for yet.

I was told to get in touch with the Human Resources who said if I felt like I had a case he’d put my request in and when I informed him I did and was prepared to lawyer up…he vanished. Ducked my text messages and calls.

Nate was the manager at the time Dave ran and owned (maybe still owns) the building And Mark was/probably still is HR.
