I worked for Walmart off and on for 25 years this last time was for 17 years. They told me I was terminated because I made to many mistakes, first they told me I was to slow and couldn't keep up, I pointed out to them before they promoted me to management, I was going to be slow because I was handicapped (I only have one hand) but I kept my head down and did my work the man you promoted me said I was exactly what he was looking for. Thru the years he left the company and a new GTM came in. After pointing this out They changed their tune to I was making to many mistake but still they kept me dispatching 3 D'C'S (distribution centers) when a lot of people where dispatching 1 or 2 DC's there were a lot of times 2 people were dispatching 1 DC. At first they started accusing me of things I didn't do. I was on vacation and they said they tried calling me in for coverage, I was out of town and I told them I would be out of town I had family coming up to visit me and I would be out of town also I wasn't next in line to do coverage two other people were ahead of me on of the person that was ahead of me said they never called him to come in. Also I have document to back a lot of this up, and also I have tape recording of them falsely accusing me of thing I didn't do. I used their open door and when they terminated me I asked the HR manager what every became of the open door issues no one every got back with me, she told me they couldn't find any reason to allow it so they threw it out without even telling me. I went to a lawyer and he said they couldn't use the tapes in court because it was done with out their permission also he wanted $460.00 an hour which I couldn't afford. So I gave up taking it any further. This all happen in May of 2014 I suppose it's to late to do something about it now. I was 7 months away from turning 66 I thing that might have been one of the real reason they terminated me. Since then I have applied over 200 places to get a job and been refused. I sure they were behind that to. #Walmart is all about politics.

An insider told me that new in-store employees only get 15 to 25 hours working at the Dollar Tree - only the managers work full-time. Has anyone else heard this?

☀️ Patio season is in full swing once again! ☀️ Time to battle the blazing sun, impossible umbrella positioning ⛱, and any critters 🐜 🍉 enticed by crumbs that dare invade your sovereign patio territory!!

My current job is at an outdoor music venue, but in the past I’ve spent most summers working the patio shift at whichever brewery 🍺 employed me at the time. There are certainly benefits to working outside, and fresh air can mean some pretty fresh tips 💸 as well! But obviously the sunburn, dehydration, running farther from the kitchen to deliver plates, and more intensive set up/ clean up - can all be more challenging than working indoors. 🍽

Would you rather work inside with air-conditioning on a slow shift or would you rather run around outside in the heat and make big tips?? 🌞 🔥 💨 🍔 🍻

One thing you’ll hear a lot of servers and bartenders talking about is their “Regulars”. These are patrons that come in often who develop long term personal relationships with the staff, and usually have some rituals related to your establishment (ex. favorite drink 🍹 or treat 🍔 🍰 they order weekly). Sometimes a true friendship can develop, and even carry over outside of the restaurant. Sometimes the person is friends with management or the owner - and they usually expect certain “perks”, but mostly these warm friendships are mutually beneficial to everyone and keep the restaurant running! I’ve worked at a small neighborhood brewery that had a lot of these folks come in and I cherished those relationships! 💞 🥂 💞 🍻 💞

There are other restaurants though that do a lot of high volume, turn and burn, constant business - with a lot of clientele. Large groups like schools and birthday parties come through, or the location is in a tourist area where there is a bigger customer base but a transient one. These places offer a chance to start fresh with each table almost every time! 💫 💫 💫

Would you rather meet as many new people as possible at work or build longer relationships with those in your neighborhood??

PLEASE READ ENTIRE PROJECT FOR BID OFFERS. THERE ARE DIRECTIONS BELOW THAT MUST BE ADDRESSED IN ALL BID SUBMISSIONS. ANY BIDS NOT INCLUDING ALL CRITERIA LISTED, WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN OUR APPROVAL PROCESS.

I'm a private chef, and I work with hundreds of elderly clients with food allergies or intolerances.

I need a user-friendly website with a Recipe Finder software platform that my clients can use to cross-reference my master recipe ingredient list with all of my 200+ recipes. I need the software to allow the user to alert me about what ingredients they don't like or are allergic to in their food.

I need the software to be able to do the following three steps:

  1. The user will log into the website and open a master list of ingredients.

  2. The user will mark/check any ingredients on the master list that they do NOT want included in their recipe.

  3. The software will cross-reference the master ingredient list with 200+ recipes and identify qualified recipies.

  4. The software will compile a list with images of all recipes that do NOT contain the identified and checked ingredients from step 1.

  5. The final list needs to appear in ascending order and must provide color coded recipes beginning with the least amount of identified and checked ingredients: Examples of the order of qualified recipies listed below:

Green - Starting with all recipes that have 0 identified and checked ingredients.

Green - list recipes with only 1 identified and checked ingredients,

Dark yellow - list all recipes with 2 identified and checked ingredients,

Dark yellow - list all recipes with 3 identified and checked ingredients,

Red - list all recipes with 4 identified and checked ingredients,

Red - list all recipes with 5 identified and checked ingredients

Black - list all recipes with 6 identified and checked ingredients,

Black - list all recipes with 7 identified and checked ingredients.

The master list must offer the following options:

  • A search function (for example, a customer can search for a recipe that contains only chicken and rice),

  • An excel upload button/option

  • A print report button on report/option

  • An email to a friend / Share results button/option

I need a website with service that includes IT. I'd prefer wix or Godaddy, Shopify or some other service that includes hosting.

The website platform must:

  • Contain a customer log-in,

  • Maintain the customer profile,

  • Be easy to use,

  • Be visually appealing, and

  • Be uploaded onto a website.

Necessary skills - I need from you:

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Programming and web design

  • CSS / design experience

  • Keep all deadlines.

  • Create a user-friendly program and upload it to a webpage.

  • Support for future addons or customizations.

I have built several websites and I am aware that this is a fairly simple project. Any bids that are overpriced will not be considered. All bids that are priced fairly will be looked at.

Please send portfolios of past experience along with reviews or references with all bids. We can not work with anyone unless we are able to view past performance.

Thank you for considering this project. I am ready to begin immediately. #unemployment #workfromhome #jobsearch #interview #application #hiringevents #healthcare #coronavirus #resume #deliverydriver #firstjob #foodservices #retail #motivation #ridesharedriver #warehouselogistics #careerdiscovery #hiringnews #officelife #aboutmyjob #stressful #callcenter #veterans #ageism #truckdriver #losangeles #successstory #delta #record #drama #termination #jobsearchlosangeles #advice #onlinetraining #dataentry #coronaviruslosangeles #stimulus #hiringeventprep #unemploymentcalifornia #applicationblackhole #washingtondc #walmart #texas #beenwondering #skillboost #california #florida #policy #arkansas #employershoutout #careerpath #amazon
