I've only been a member for about a week yet, I noticed there are numerous fake accounts posting jobs. And i also see comments from a few other members talking about how they have tried to report these fraud accounts posting jobs to no avail. I wasnt going to pay it any mind. Until, I logged in today and noticed that the ONLY comment I had posted publicly was removed by an Admin. It was not a very lengthy one, probably 2-3 sentences saying how I was not here to to get scammed. Nor was I here to scam anyone. And that I was just here to find a job. It was not offensive in any way. So im struggling to understand why a site administrator felt they had to take down my post. Unless they themselves are actively behind the scams posted on this site or are backing the people that do it. That is which brought up the question.... What Is Jobcase Exactly? #scams #advice #jobsearch #wordsofadvice #help #management #termination #application #interview #workfromhome #fraudcase #

The person who called didn’t introduce himself didn’t have the correct resume. hen I offered to send him an updated resume to show the relevance in my experience after like asking a couple of questions he told me he worked for an PM Co. that I left for lack of professionalism. He must’ve called the manager at the time or something because he asked me a question and literally hung up on me. Then sent an email that I wasn’t qualified. sometimes they may have to look at the quality and professionalism of the 3rd party or direct recruiters they have doing they pre screening or phone interview. Clearly I understood why he stayed at the comany I left for 6 years. Professionalism is or lack there of is clearly not in their job description should be a red flag #interview #management #advice
I started a new position on November 29, 2021. As of today it was decided that it was not a good fit. I sit and I wonder why. As when you start a new position there is always going to be a learning curve, and training. Well the learning curve is there, but there was no training. I went into something that I have never done before. I developed the social media, Facebook, LinkedIn, brought in my own leads as I was not given any. Unfortunately it takes time to build that pipeline. I think that things were about to turn around and then the axe fell at 10:30 this morning. I am now back to seeking new employment. If any of you have a new opportunity I would love to hear about it. #termination #management #training #jobsearch
Okay so let’s kick this off with what I know for a fact: I decided to leave a job without notice. (Gasp), I know, I know. I was a highly paid salaried employee who was just over all the politics and constantly changing expectations, but this post isn’t about the why; it’s the how. So, I quit, and still had possession of work keys. The owner asked for them back, but I was out of town on vacation. I had planned on resigning after my vacation already. So my final paycheck arrives, on time. I notice that a note has been added to the bottom; “Due to Federal Minimum Wage hours worked has been paid. Employee did not return back to work as of 4/8 nor informed employer. Employer attempted to make contact but no response. Employer requested store keys on second attempt. Employee never return keys. Employee had locks rekey.” I requested a receipt of the re-keying service. This is the same employer who would pay me my salary when I was 6-10 hrs in overtime, but not pay the full amount if I was 4-8 hrs under my time. My questions is, is this legal? #management #termination
I worked for Walmart off and on for 25 years this last time was for 17 years. They told me I was terminated because I made to many mistakes, first they told me I was to slow and couldn't keep up, I pointed out to them before they promoted me to management, I was going to be slow because I was handicapped (I only have one hand) but I kept my head down and did my work the man you promoted me said I was exactly what he was looking for. Thru the years he left the company and a new GTM came in. After pointing this out They changed their tune to I was making to many mistake but still they kept me dispatching 3 D'C'S (distribution centers) when a lot of people where dispatching 1 or 2 DC's there were a lot of times 2 people were dispatching 1 DC. At first they started accusing me of things I didn't do. I was on vacation and they said they tried calling me in for coverage, I was out of town and I told them I would be out of town I had family coming up to visit me and I would be out of town also I wasn't next in line to do coverage two other people were ahead of me on of the person that was ahead of me said they never called him to come in. Also I have document to back a lot of this up, and also I have tape recording of them falsely accusing me of thing I didn't do. I used their open door and when they terminated me I asked the HR manager what every became of the open door issues no one every got back with me, she told me they couldn't find any reason to allow it so they threw it out without even telling me. I went to a lawyer and he said they couldn't use the tapes in court because it was done with out their permission also he wanted $460.00 an hour which I couldn't afford. So I gave up taking it any further. This all happen in May of 2014 I suppose it's to late to do something about it now. I was 7 months away from turning 66 I thing that might have been one of the real reason they terminated me. Since then I have applied over 200 places to get a job and been refused. I sure they were behind that to. #Walmart is all about politics.
I recently interviewed with the nation's largest health care performance improvement company. The position was for a Senior Program Services Manager -Supplier Diversity. I was successfully passed through to a 3rd interview with the female Hiring Manager. I was puzzled as to why I was being drilled about my lack of healthcare experience when my résumé clearly did not show those credentials. Most of my experience is in senior level operations, in non healthcare industries. Later I discovered that a former connection of mine was a VP at this company. When I explain to him my experience he informed me that he had hired that female himself and at the time she had no healthcare experience. It leads me to wonder what “non-job related challenges” I am actually fighting against when it comes to being selected for a position. #jobsearch #interview #management
I am looking for a job but I have a record I but people change it has been 4 years since I went to jail, picked up any type of drug or a drink I got my kids back got off of all types of supervision that I've ever been on and moved 700 miles away from everything I have ever known. I'm a full-time student working towards my bachelor of science degree in animal health and behavior the only jobs I can get are low-end jobs that I would have to continue living with someone in one room with 5 kids being a single mom. yes, I've made mistakes but I have done my time for them so WHY DO I HAVE TO STILL PAY FOR MY PAST? SORRY, I'M JUST REALLY FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE. # #jobsearch #interview #advice #management #application
