I am not sure who needs to hear this BUT i am a woman of many beliefs, I wish for you to put your best foot from here on out, drown out all negativity and keep going, keep your head up because i promise you, whatever you are working towards will be worth it in the end! If you do not have faith you will not succeed, if you do not try hard and be unflappable you will not survive, stop digging yourself a deeper hole of sadness, life goes on and you will be alright despite ANYTHING that may happen to you or a loved one, life is all about having FAITH in ones self and BELIEVING even when there is NO sign that things will get better but everything is temporary so please DO NOT stop now, dont let yourself down! you have the power, you have the strength and knowledge to uplift your spirit and hold yourself up!! #motivation #inspiration #wordsofadvice #determination #advice #inspirational #1

I have been receiving desperately needed PUA benefits since June. I have been struggling with housing issues and so either stay in cheap (scary) motels, or a tent. On Nov 8th my benefits were put on hold and I was commanded to provide proof of identity, address, prior employment, bank info, etc, within 6 days. I immediately complied. I received my last deposit 6 weeks ago! It's entirely too cold to be sleeping outside in a tent! I understand there are a lot of these cases to be worked and the holidays slow things down but, why stop the benefits entirely indefinitely? I have called, emailed, and everything else I have been instructed to do. How much longer??!

I have a couple friends who work in #foodservices and the one who worked for a cafe is convinced he's getting his job back when they open back up. But my friend who worked at a restaurant says, "No way," she's going to try #retail.

I saw this article on 7 reasons why you should change jobs during COVID

What about you? When you go back to work, are you going back to the same job? Or you going to try for something else?

Try an email. Here in PA, I filed in July and followed up with calls to one office and finally got thru to find out I needed to call another number. Kepr calling but couldn't get anyone to answer. Finally went thru paperwork to find an email address. Sent my email and about two weeks later got a response. After a month or more of corresponses, I got movement on my review. Apparently, nothing was sent to or back to my employer. Usually if a dispute is in question, they have 30days to issue a hearing. I disputed that it had been well over the 30 days on whether it should be reviewable but they proceeded anyways. When separated, i did ask if my employer was going deny UC and he said no. Soon after my final email I did receive payment in a lump sum of what I had filing for bi-weekly. Make sure you are still filing for your UC until it is exhausted and then file for any additional PUA, EB or whatever you are qualified for. Good luck!

Because I once was a hedge fund & portfolio manager, I often get asked about my views on Bitcoin. Well, one of the most successful money managers in history just wrote a great piece that really resonated with my views. For those interested, link below. For impatient types (like me) the summary is :

1) “I believe Bitcoin is one hell of an invention. “ 2) “Bitcoin looks like a long-duration option on a highly unknown future that I could put an amount of money in that I wouldn’t mind losing about 80% of.”

Sounds about right. For more... check it out #savings #retirement #investment #bitcoin #crypto
